Our structural engineers can provide a visual or analytical assessment of a specific structural components or concerns. We have provided owners or potential buyers with reports and recommendations for structural strengthening of suspect slabs, retaining walls, roofs, tanks or entire derelict or abandoned buildings.
As consulting engineers we bill for our time to provide a site visit and opinions based on visual observations. We can provide a brief email report with recommendations or a more formal report if needed. Typically the initial visit and brief email report is billed at 1-2 hours at our standard rate. If you require a more formal report we will provide you with a fee quote. In all cases, we do ask new clients to sign our Terms of Engagement agreement prior to our visit.
Post-hurricane assessments of damage by a registered structural engineer help to facilitate quick insurance claims and guidance through permits and approvals before starting any corrective works.
